Pre Enrolment Information
Jabin Hopkins Institute of Technology recruit students in an ethical and responsible manner and provide pre enrolment info that enables students to make informed decisions about studying with us in Australia. We ensure students’ qualifications, experience and English language proficiency are appropriate for the course for which enrolment is sought.
National Code of ESOS framework requires us:
Prior to accepting a student, or an intending student, for enrolment in a course, we must provide, in print or through referral to an electronic copy, current and accurate information regarding the following:
- The requirements for acceptance into a course, including the minimum level of English language proficiency, educational qualifications or work experience required and whether course credit may be applicable.
- The course content and duration, qualification offered if applicable, modes of study and assessment methods.
- Campus locations and a general description of facilities, equipment, and learning and library resources available to students.
- Details of any arrangements with another registered provider, person or business to provide the course or part of the course.
- Indicative course-related fees including advice on the potential for fees to change during the student’s course and applicable refund policies.
- Information about the grounds on which the student’s enrolment may be deferred, suspended or canceled.
- A description of the ESOS framework made available electronically by DEEWR, and,
- Relevant information on living in Australia, including:
- Indicative costs of living
- Accommodation options, and,
- Where relevant, schooling obligations and options for school-aged
- Dependants of intending students, including that school fees may be incurred.

Rights and Obligations
- Our obligations to the learner
- We are responsible for the quality of the training and assessment
- We are responsible for compliance of training and assessment
- We are responsible for the issuance of the AQF certification documentation upon completion
- Learner’s rights
- Details of the complaints and appeals process (please see the Student Policy Handbook)
- If third party delivering training and assessment on our behalf, closes or ceases to deliver any part of the training product that the learner is enrolled in (no third party is in place at this point of time)
- Learner’s obligations
- In relation to the repayment of any debt to be incurred under the VET Student Loans scheme arising from the provision of services (no VET Student Loans service available at this point of time)
- Any requirements we require the learner to meet to enter and successfully complete their chosen training product
- Any materials and equipment that the learner must provide
